Aedanaya attends American Public University and is working on a Master's in Space Studies - Astronomy,
This was her first mission as a crew member, but she has supported multiple AARG-ILMAH missions in the past as a Mission Controller.
She is inspired by the potential for positive change. She says that "humanity has such potential - we can evolve, improve, and build a better future for all - and space exploration will be an absolutely essential part of that."
